  • October 2020 - Troop 13 recognized 1 Scout for reaching the rank of Scout at a recent Outdoor Troop Campfire.
  • August 2020 - Scout Thomas Donahue earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America. Only a small percentage of Scouts ever achieve this rank which represents many years of effort. The rank requires Scouts to show strong Leadership skills.
  • January 2020 - Troop 13 was recognized as a Daniel Webster Council Unit of Honor. The Unit of Honor program is designed to recognize the top units achieving excellence in providing a quality program to a growing youth population in America at all levels of the Boy Scouts of America.
  • February 2020 - Troop 13's Scoutmaster was recognized for 35 Years of Service in Scouting.
  • January 2020 - Troop 13 was recognized as a Journey to Excellence Gold Unit. The Journey to Excellence program is designed to recognize units achieving excellence in providing a quality program to a growing youth population in America at all levels of the Boy Scouts of America. To earn this award, the Troop had to meet several goals for excellence that were set in consultation with Daniel Webster Council.
  • October 2019 - One Scout from Troop 13 was inducted into the Order of the Arrow. For more than 90 years, the Order of the Arrow (OA) has recognized Scouts and Scouters who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. This recognition provides encouragement for others to live these ideals as well. Arrowmen are known for maintaining camping traditions and spirit, promoting year-round and long term resident camping, and providing cheerful service to others.

The Troop also recognized leaders who earned the Golden Doe Award and President’s Volunteer Service Award.

For more than 90 years, the Order of the Arrow (OA) has recognized Scouts and Scouters who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. Arrowmen are known for maintaining camping traditions and spirit, promoting year-round and long term resident camping, and providing cheerful service to others. The level of Brotherhood is a sign of a Scout's commitment to the ideals of the Order and to a lifetime of service to his fellow man.

The Troop also recognized a Scout who earned the Boy Scout Eclipse award by traveling to the Centerline of a solar eclipse The Troop also recognized leaders who earned the Order of the Condor award and the William D. Boyce award.
  • April 2017 - Troop 13 recognized 1 Scout for reaching the rank of Scout, 1 Scout for Reaching the rank of Tenderfoot, 1 Scout for reaching the rank of 2nd Class, 1 Scout who achieved the rank of First Class, and 1 Scout who achieved the Rank of Star at a recent Court of Honor. The Troop also recognized leaders who earned the President’s Volunteer Service Award.

  • October 2012 - Troop 13 received four separate awards at the Historic District Fall Camporee. The Troop received First Place in the Flagpole Lashing competition, First Place in the Talent Show competition, Second Place in the Hay Bale Throwing competition, and Third Place in the Iron Chef Lunch competition.
